Who is F.A.T.S.O.F.A.C.E.?

F.A.T.S.O.F.A.C.E. is the animation club at the Art Institute of Portland. We are a collection of student animators with interests in all forms of animation including traditional 2D, stop motion and 3D forms of animation. We aren't limited to any one discipline. The name was created by animator Brian Larson as a way to remember the principles of animation. It stands for: Flexibility, Anticipation, Timing and Spacing, Squash and Stretch, Overlapping action, Follow Through, Arcs, Counter Action, and Exaggeration. We work together to improve our work and promote animation in our community, we're geeks like that.
